Always Faithful

-Wisco Dave

WASHINGTON—Hurricane Sandy is expected to slam the East Coast and the federal government is shut down—but the U.S. servicemen who guard the outdoor Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery will remain on duty.
"They will not abandon their post," an employee who answered the Arlington Cemetery's phone confirmed to Yahoo News. He identified himself as "George," but was not authorized to speak on the record to the media.
The tomb, located just outside Washington, D.C., holds the remains of unidentified soldiers from World War I, World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
The elite sentinels selected to guard it have kept watch continuously at the site since 1948.

This makes my heart swell with pride. And makes me want Obama out all the more. Yeah, Romney's not much better; but better IS better.

They need to get with the program...didn't they hear the military doesn't use bayonets anymore? (Insert Sarcasm where applicable)

I have to say that is true dedication and gives me a sense of pride in our country.

Hey Kenny

The remains from the Vietnam vet were identified and removed in 1998. Just FYI. Keep up the great blog. Dave

Hey Anonymous,

Kenny just posted the AP story as it was. It's the idiot AP reporter that said Vietnam soldier remains. I'd bet my very last bullet that Kenny knows that, it's just not his responsibility to edit the idiots in the MSM.

By now I am sure you have found out that this picture is a fake. FYI brother.

What's fake about it other than it may be a stock photo?

@Baek In-je

Feel free to say that to THEIR face...these kind of men WOULD and DID die for your freedom!

It's not from Hurricane Sandy - it is a photo taken by a tourist in September. http://www.inquisitr.com/380460/tomb-of-the-unknown-soldier-picture-not-actually-from-hurricane-sandy/
