A sign of things to come?

Yeah, so I went into the Big 5 Sporting Goods a few minutes ago to score some 5.56 and their ammo shelves were fucking ravaged, man. No 40, 9mm, or 45 ACP and only one 50 round box of 5.56 which I bought.
Gee, I wonder why?
