Texas Assistant DA shot and killed

A Kaufman County assistant district attorney was shot dead outside the courthouse Thursday, spurring a complete lockdown of the grounds and an active search for the two shooters.
Kaufman County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Pat Laney said the suspects ambushed the assistant DA on his way in to court and shot him multiple times at about 8:50 a.m. They then fled the scene. The courthouse was locked down and later closed for the day. The victim's name has not been released because his family has not been notified.
During a press conference, Sheriff David Burns and Police Chief Chris Aulbaugh said the prosecutor was heading to misdemeanor court when he was assaulted and gunned down. Investigators are combing through his case load to find any suspects who may have held a grudge.

Well, if they're looking for anybody that might've held a grudge..... If' he's prosecuted 500 cases in his career, I'm thinking they have 500 suspects so far. Then if you include the families of the prosecuted you can add another 1500-2000 to that list. Then if you want to include friends of the prosecuted......
Gonna be interesting how this plays out. Was it a cartel hit, bad blood, or a couple of Patriots that got tired of the shit?

  2. Stinkwilly you are well named. Nobody gets whacked for prosecuting misdemeanors. This guy also prosecuted murder and drug cases. So go ahead and cheer for the guy who was most likely whacked for putting away a drug dealer or killer.

  3. Probably also put away more than one person for exercising his natural Rights, too.
    I'll cheer for that guy.

  4. Everyone knows the justice system is crooked. I learned how it works when I was in high school in Denver. Throughout my life I have witnessed example after example of how slimy the system is. It's all run on who you know and how much money (power) you have. Sympathy for a prosecutor that's been shot? Nope.

I hold an opinion, which serves me well in understanding shit that happens. "Almost nobody gets shot for no reason." Except for the very rare time when somebody just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, people only get shot if they did something to deserve being shot for.

  5. If these were Patriots, an anonymous statement should be issued with the exact case that holds bearing, so that the warning is clear and BOLD.
