Good going, guys

A black business owner who invested his life savings into what is now a looted and destroyed sports bar cried on camera as he lamented, “I don’t know what I’m gonna do.”

A news report describes how the Minneapolis bar owner was attempting to clean up when thugs tried to break in again during filming and loot his safe.

“I don’t know what I’m gonna do, I worked so hard to get here, so hard,” the owner says as he cries.

  1. A lot of information is coming out about this riot and none of it is reassuring. This poor man lost his entire life savings and Minneapolis doesn’t seem to give a shit. I hope someone starts a go-fund-me and he moves out of that hell hole

    1. Should be a link to the gofundme if you are feeling poorly for him. His story is sad, indeed. But why wasn't he armed? Why wasn't he taking responsibility for his safety and the safety of his property?

  2. I hope he has insurance. The animals that are running loose in Minneapolis could care less about other peoples hard work and dreams. I remember the Korean's with rifles protecting their stores during an LA riot.

It goes back to the half full and half empty argument. The third possibility is the glass can be refilled. Then there is being on the wrong end of a 357. I would have protected my business.

    1. Will insurance cover losses from civil unrest? If it is a "protest" and not a riot, he may have a chance, otherwise I think insurance co will not pay.
      Lawyers will get paid regardless...

  3. This is what seems to me to be the worst flaw in the concept of destroying local businesses in order to "protest" the police or government. When you wreck regular folks' livelihoods either by trashing or looting their business or blocking traffic so they can't get to work you turn people who might have otherwise supported you into enemies.

    1. You know that, I know that, but do they know that? Maybe. But they sure do not care. There's your answer.

While this is sad, why is it only a business owned by a black man that we hear about? I am sure that there are some equally tragic stories about white people suffering at the hands of these thugs. Why don't we hear anything about that? Do they somehow deserve it?
