  1. If you like that, you should see Ian's polymer AR receiver test.

I always worry when Ian gets his hands on a flamethrower.

    1. No, but I was just thinking about the fact that air receiver tanks off an old Peterbilt or Kenworth would make fine components for such a self build.

  5. I trained with one of those in Camp Geiger in 68. It was part of my MOS. Fired the damn thing once. The procedure as I recall was wet down, strike the match and let er fly. I loved the damn thing. Also fired a 3.5 about once or bazooka as some call it. I saw one in Nam in a case. We carried the LAAW's back then.

    1. Right on the money. The only thing extra that's needed are the marshmallows.

  7. Hmm. I don't think Justin Castro's banned these yet.
    Not on banned list. Check.
Less than 20 mm bore dia. Check.
No projectile as such, so less than 10 kjoule muzzle energy. Checkity check.

    Party's on!

  8. I have fired flamethrowers on several occasions, in the military, at targets only. It is the most powerful feeling in the world knowing that there is a 40 foot column of fire in front of you and nothing is alive there.
