@Jeff ... I shot a 1-day appleseed last summer. Learned a couple of useful things, most important was timing shots at the bottom of my inhale-exhale cycle. Really helped with my slow-fire accuracy. That, and learning about NPOA ...
Speaking as a former appleseed instructor... It's well worth taking an appleseed, if only for the exceptional history lessons. They do American history better than anyone. The things Brad mentions are indeed useful, appleseed WILL improve your accuracy, especially with iron sights. However, although the program is well intentioned, they chew up their eager volunteers and spit them out, and the leadership never apologizes for it. Been like that since the beginning. The backstabbing that goes on, although it happens privately, ruins what otherwise ought to be an outstanding program. In other words, attend appleseeds, but don't get involved beyond the weekend.
For those who wonder why everything is upside down, inside out, back to front, inconsistent and hypocritical the answer is quite simply that *everything* is a planned psychological warfare operation. Nothing new - the USA has been doing this for decades. The objective is to deliberately create division, anger, resentment, confusion, and most importantly to prevent any firm of collaboration or unification and that's precisely what you've got right now. The short term objective is of course to destroy Trump and get the so-called democrats (or demonrats as I call them) back in power to perpetuate the war machine and enormous amount of money war makes for them. Mid term plans are to eliminate all rights and personal freedoms, eliminate cash and enable bio tracking of everyone. Long term plans won't happen as they don't have the time left to implement them due to other factors.
The so called race wars are a construct but history dictates the future as we shall see soon enough.
