Heavy Machine Guns of the Great War

  1. My dad worked at APG at the LWL from 62 to his death in 69. Back then it was a community of patriots. My parents were good friends with DrJack Atwater. Late in my career i was fortunate enough to lead exchange visits from our allies armed services. One stop always was the Ordnance museum on APG.
The first time I walked in Doc Atwater called me by my first name. He remembered me from foundation events. The man is amazing.
Anyway Jack has many many such examples in his collection, and the history and stories behind the system. Kept in a vault his calls "his inter sanctum".
