Don't remember where I read it, but there's a sad story behind this picture. They dressed him up for a family that was coming to adopt him, and they never showed. People suck.
Hey. Maybe better that they bailed before, than getting cold feet later and dumping the pup, giving him away to even less savoury owners, or abandoning him.
My neighbour does rescue dogs. She has six right now, and two thirds were roadside drop offs, or puppy mill refugees. Quite a collection of personalities, and it's a lot of work, but they're all glad to see me when I drop by. Too bad previous owners couldn't be bothered. This one was lucky.

The SOB that canceled for what ever reason should not be allowed to adopt any animal for at least a year.
