Russ was my best friend when we were growing up, murdered on 28 July, 1984. We had a hell of a lot of good times and shared more than a few bad ones too.
You said it right... this is a life and world of tears. We've all got special people we've lost and it really doesn't get much better with time. Keep the good thoughts though and remember the good times.
It's been 30 years since my mother passed away at the ripe old age of 29 when I was 13. She would have been 60 years old today. Happy Birthday Mom.
