Back then we would sit on the edge of the county dump and shoot packs of wild dogs that came over the border from Mexico. A lot of 'em were rabid. A long time ago.
Skip, 90% of the dogs I shoot nowadays are infested with mange so bad that I don't dare touch them. I have to tow them with a 550 cord and a handle. Shot 2 that I know for sure were rabid.
