NOVATO (CBS SF) — A 15-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday for possession of a destructive device after a 4-foot rocket launcher was found in the backseat of the SUV he was driving, Novato police said.
The unlicensed Novato teen was stopped by a police traffic officer around 9:40 a.m. in the 1700 block of Novato Boulevard for playing music too loudly in the Dodge Durango, according to Cpl. Nick Frey.
The teen was alone in the SUV when the officer spotted the unloaded AT4 rocket launcher in the backseat.
so, a four foot long, empty fiber glass tube with cheap flip up plastic sights are a destructive device?
ReplyDeleteThank God that he didn't have a empty Dragon launcher tube, as he might have been able to blow up imaginary tanks.
I've figured the cops out and what is going on with all these 'cops-gone-wild' events of late. Any action not specifically approved is automatically unapproved. By the State cracking down on the citizens acting lawfully it sets the agenda that the citizens will not make waves when the police act more unlawfully.
Nothing more than training aid to recruits or mil surplus store crap. Non-reloadable, non-reusable empty tube. Remember 'bot 10 years ago some dude in Kalifornia stole a M-60 tank from a NG motorpool and went nuts on the freeway? The turret was in travel-lock over the rear deck,no one in the turret, just one friutcake in the driver's seat in the front of the hull. The cops were all freaked out about it might have live ammo(AYFKM?)and might have to get the military to take him out? Hilarious!!! Then dude runs over the concrete median barrier and grounds himself on the hull bottom! I CAN'T GET NO, DA DA DUM, FUCKIN TRACTION, DA DA DUM!!!
ReplyDeleteyeah, I remember that. I was saying to myself, "That tank isn't going anywhere". Then the cop executed him and was a hero.
ReplyDeleteThat taught me all I needed to know about cops calling themselves heros.
