Because if I didn't have the bed to throw my shit into, this is what my cab would look like.
Luckily the wind blows it out along the road, so I only have to clean it out if I've been doing a lot of in-town driving and not driving fast enough to redistribute it along my route.
I saw one like that at Jack-n-the-box, except it was full of newspaper - and when I say full, there was just a place for the driver! The darn thing was sitting on its wheels.
