I would have used duct tape, allot more stable. And I have that exact same chainsaw ;-) You need to clamp that thing in the on position.. kinda defies the purpose if you don't. Back off Fido!!

Duct tape sucks now. They make it cheaply. Gorilla tape is the way to go!
