If you have a laser boresighter, use it to check and improve your trigger control. Insert the boresighter, get a good sight picture and squeeze the trigger. If the little red dot moves, keep practicing.
Not as much fun as shooting but it's a hell of a lot cheaper.
Not only that, you damn sure can't blame it on the ammo.

OR you could have a partner rack the slide for you while you hold the trigger back to practice trigger resets.
