The heads of these goats in the photo look similar to the breed - common here in America - called "Nubians", but again, the "Nubians" raised here in America don't have the love-making appendages that are present on the Middle Eastern and African versions.
There is still an ethnic group called "Nubians" present in Egypt, and I'm guessing they might specialize in providing these wooly "escorts" for the muslims who desire company when the usual "beardless boys" are not available.
