I give CharlieGodammit rawhide bones to keep those on the floor from being my bones. Actually most of what you see is the end wrappings from the rawhide twists he loves so much. He gnaws the twists down and guards the wraps. He doesn't eat them, but he'll be damned if he'll let me police them up - I have to put him outside to do that.
Check out the camouflage arm rests on the chair that my lovely mother-in-law knitted for us. There's also a full size afghan of the same pattern across the back of the couch. Our house decor is American Guerrilla in case you haven't guessed.
"American Guerrilla" That's funny as shit and awesome at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI love when dogs hold their treats with their paws while knawing on them. Cute. That's a lot of treat to guard!
...speaking of Guerrillas, if you get a chance read the book GUERILLA DAYS IN IRELAND by Tom Barry, it's pretty interesting.....

"American Gorilla" could be a new camo name!.... My dog Loki (8yr old Dach.)will grab a pigs ear or rawhide bone, go into his kennel or go hide somehwere and will literally guard it for hours...you get near him and he sounds like a bear in a cave...

That's sure better than the "Kenyan Gorilla" at the white house....
