My thoughts on The Armed March on DC this coming 4th of July

Bad idea for several reasons.

1) No clear objective or goal - they're doing it to show they won't cower anymore but the organizer says if they meet resistance they'll disperse. If you go home when the Powers-that-wanna be tell you to go home, you just acknowledged that they're the boss.

2) Bad idea tactically - you don't march into an area armed where it's illegal to do so if you're outgunned and outnumbered.

3) While the feds may not arrest everyone there at the march, they will probably wait until they've dispersed. It's easier to arrest people individually than in a mob and I spend enough time looking over my shoulder as it is.

4) All it takes is one idiot to open fire and the rest is history - literally.

5) The group will probably have more federal infiltrators and informants than Patriots. There's no way to validate everybody with on open invitation on Facebook.

I could go on and on about why I think this is a bad idea but I think you get it. No, I won't be there and I personally think anybody that does intend on going should really think it through. However, if you're set on going, that's your business. I won't think any less of any Patriot that makes that decision for himself - A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

  1. Im with you wirecutter the reasons not to are too numerous to list but the press will be negative either way,A huge turnout they cry "rebellion" small turnout and it will be "see they are such a fringe element of the country" We all know some nut case lefty will try to infiltrate and cause all the legal gun owners to look bad.

  2. And another: Kokesh is an idiot. Less-than-honorable discharge, breaches of UCMJ, etc. Look him up at This Ain't Hell for some entertainment.

  3. I saw this idea and immediately thought out would be a perfect false flag event, which is reason enough not to be there

  4. Sounds too much like a set up to me.
bobo and ugly janet have been searching (praying) for an event/excuse just like this.

They are going to march across a bridge from Virginia to DC. Tensions are going to be high and even a loud noise (think Firecracker) could set things in motion. The streets and rooftops are going to be full of coppers and other armed agents. That bridge could become a kill box. I know I wouldn't want to be half way across when it hits the fan.

  6. I read about this and thought, "Wrong time, wrong place, wrong plan." This is going to be very very bad.

  7. I have been following the DC Clothesline and there are some good folks there. But for the same reasons posted here, I will not be part of it. I feel as passionate about the second amendment being the keystone of the constitution and bill of rights. However, there is the proper time and proper place for any action regarding this type of free speech. I am positive, giving the killing of of the Manchin/Toomey senate bill, that those who are hell-bent of gun confiscation know exactly what they are up against. The type of rally planned for July 4 will only give fodder for the mainstream media to demonize those of us who respect our rights and stand to uphold them.

  8. I just don't wanna get shot. My body's pretty intolerant of gunshot wounds.

Seriously, a dead Patriot is a..... dead Patriot. He's not going to do himself or the Cause any good once he's dead.

  9. You know what I would do is march up to the line and hold there for however long you can...They are going to be putting a lot of resources out there and the longer they are there the more DC is going to pay out of pocket..Just my two cents...

  10. Unless everyone is ready to die, it's a bad idea. yes it could be the excuse that they needed to create a major cluster fu*k.
Breaking the law is not what we need to do.
Only one out of thousands, including infilitrators, could start a situation of chaos that would be unbelievable.
    I vote NO.

  11. Lineman said it right, walk up to the line and hold there, don't cross it and break the law. If you break the law then you give them the high ground and the 2nd Amendment and Gun Advocates don't need that.

  12. Aside from the fact that AK showed repeated poor judgment, getting himself a less than honorable discharge. For several years he was a leader of a bunch of Revolutionary Communists. Then in 2010 he tried to run for Congress in New Mexico ans a Republican, and only as a last choice has he declared himself a Libertarian. Do you take his stated principles and goals seriously now? Next year he may be declaring himself a member of the Illuminati. His only real cause is the Magic Ego of Adam Kokesh. I think we've seen too many Egomanic narcissists in politics already.

  13. I just cringe every time one of these nutjobs calls himself a Libertarian. Just stop it already.

  14. Bad idea. I don't see any positive results yielded for gun owners from this narcissistic attention-seeking march. 2A supporters need to be smarter than this. All this march is going to do is give the media more ammo to paint gun owners in a negative way with their broad, negative brush.

It will only take one fuckin' loon (or a FBI-planted mole) to discharge his weapon and then all hell will break loose, giving President zerO all he needs to declare martial law and start rounding up firearms and filling the FEMA camps.

Bad idea. I just hope only a handful of fellow attention-whores show up to march with Kodouchebag. That, or maybe someone will bitchslap some sense into him before this goes too far...

  16. Heard of the Bonus army?
    http://www.gpb.org/march-of-the-bonus-army

If FDR and McArthur were willing to do that then, what do you think the gang of thieves, commies and murderers in DC now would do? Yes, a message needs to be sent that we Have the right to ignore unconstitutional BS, but I can't see how this could be a positive.
