Amazon now accepting food stamps

Amazon is now accepting food stamp benefits in seven states as part of a pilot program with the Department of Agriculture, the tech giant announced.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) beneficiaries in New York, Washington, Alabama, Iowa, Nebraska, Florida and Oregon can apply their benefits to online Amazon grocery orders, as well as other participating stores, according to a blog post from Kristina Herrmann, Amazon's director of underserved populations.

  1. Linky no worky "Access Denied" (at the jump)
You don't have permission to access "http://www.foxbusiness.com/technology/amazon-snap-food-stamp-benefits" on this server.

So now, in addition to getting crab legs and fillet mignon on their cards, they can now order food from THE MOST EXPENSIVE GROCERY CHAIN ON THE PLANET and have it delivered right to their door, avoiding the embarrassment of having their fellow shoppers witness them pay for all that largess with their Snap Card, all courtesy of our tax dollars. What's next, caviar? Here I thought President Trump didn't like Bezos.

    1. It looks like a debit card, so how would you know the difference standing 6 feet behind them?

I will worry about welfare going to Americans after we put an end to the billions in welfare going to Israel each year. But then I am funny, I put Americans before an insignificant little nation on the other side of the world.

    2. Depends on where you live. In some states these cards say "SNAP" or "BRIDGE CARD" or "EBT" in great big letters on the front of the card.

Also, "Americans?" 40% of the people getting welfare are still wet behind the ears from the trip across the Rio Grande hanging onto an old inner tube. Another 40%--well, I'll just say they don't consider themselves Americans unless gibsmedats are involved, and want all the honkeys to know it. I'd rather see my tax dollars put in a pile and set on fire than given to either group.
