Fun fact (and if you doubt it, it's on the internet, so it MUST be true!): Winchester Ranger-T SXT -is- Winchester Black Talon, or more accurately, got its start as Black Talon, and current loads are a direct descendant of the Black Talon bullet. After the horribly bad press the Talon got (nearly all of it, if not completely, false), Winchester pulled the brand label from shelves. A couple months later, the new "SXT" came out to replace it. Same eXact Thing... SXT. It even still had the little "petals" or "thorns" atthe edge of the jacket hollowpoint. But it wasn't painted black. Winchester has continued refining and improving the load, with newer powders, bonded jackets, and such, but every SXT loaad available today (and there are several) is a direct descendent from and improved copy of the old bullet once falsely and unjustly reviled as a "cop killer."
"Extreme penetrator didn't expand much. I guess thats good if you have a couple guys lined up...

Xtreme Penetartor and Xtreme Defense aren't meant to expand. They're part of a "new" Wonder Bullet that magically is supposed to use the channels in the bullet to cause hydrostatic shock to enlarge the temporary wound cavity. Never mind that handgun velocities aren't fast enough to cause any such effect.
Gimmick ammo.
I'll stick to the following ,in no particular order:: Federal HST. Winchester Ranger T. Speer Gold Dot. Speer G2 (Gold Dot 2) Remington Golden Saber Black Belt Bonded. Hornady Tac-XPD all copper bullet.
https://www.luckygunner.com/labs/ Lucky Gunner has conducted a number of tests that compare ammo penetration and retention. Check out the link above. It is very helpful. Texan
Gonna second what a lot of people already said. I'll add that the Maximum Expansion one tends to under-penetrate in tests (and sometimes come apart in some of the tests I've seen).
Black Talons, the legend... that isn't nearly as good as most of the bullets it's sitting next to, to be honest. Jacket separation was a common issue. In fact, other than the FMJ and gimmick bullets, I'd pick any of the others in that picture before it in a heartbeat because they'll all outperform it.
The Xtreme Penetrator would probably be a good backcountry choice.
