Former President Bill Clinton has talked openly about how he could have killed Osama bin Laden—but passed.
“I nearly got him. And I could have killed him, but I would have to destroy a little town called Kandahar in Afghanistan and kill 300 innocent women and children, and then I would have been no better than him. And so I just didn't do it,” Clinton confessed to an Australian audience just 10 hours before two planes struck the World Trade Center.
But in The Longest War, a new documentary from director Greg Barker (Manhunt) and executive producer Alex Gansa (Homeland), former CIA agents reveal that they had another opportunity to take out Osama bin Laden with little collateral damage.

Remember when Oliver North testified about Bin Laden? Washington has known about Bin Laden's potential forever, and WE created that monster.
ReplyDeleteLtCol North did not testify about Bin Laden. He testified about Abu Nidal.
DeleteAnd bin Laden was a Saudi creation, not one of ours in Afghanistan. What, you think Saudis didn't and couldn't fund the major part of the war against the Soviets in Afghanistan? They spent more money than we did.

DeleteDidn’t Clinton skip many daily intel briefings?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure about Clinton, but I know Obama missed a shitload of them.
DeleteSlick Willie told people during a press conference that the US was listening in on his phone calls. While we were actually listening in on his phone calls and knew where he was and knew what he was doing.
ReplyDeleteAfter that, OBL started practicing better Op Sec.
And then Bill and All Gore gutted the intelligence agencies, getting rid of spies and agents and switching over to space recon only, while putting firewalls between the agencies so they couldn't share information, and making it US policy that terrorism against the US is just a law enforcement issue, rather than a militaristic attack against these United States.
Nah. Bill did absolutely nothing wrong.
Fucking asshole.
Needs to be dangling from a tree or tall building.
Pre-9-11, the Alphabet Agencies had bin Laden literally in their sights and went up the food chain for permission to pull the trigger. Both times, Billy Jeff deliberately dicked around until the window of opportunity closed.
ReplyDeleteWe all know what happened after that.
Die in a fire, Clintons.
Democrats do anything and everything that is anti-America. Simple. Been doing it since day one when they refused to release the slaves and fought the civil war to object to "America".
ReplyDeleteI bet KFK is thanking Oswald for getting him out of the Democrat party
ReplyDeleteTHE only thing "slick" cared about was getting a B.J., ASS, or guns. SCREWING SOMEONE PERIOD! Cankles was just getting rich.
ReplyDeletebin Laden repeatedly said he didn't "do" 911 and the FBI never listed 911 as one of his charges as one of the "10 most wanted". That should tell us something. Should be Dick Cheney's photo on the "most wanted" poster.
