ReplyDeleteMy state adopted an a new law making a carry permit optional in 2017. The past two legislative sessions, the Demonrats have tried to overturn it and in fact make it illegal to own "assault" weapons and large cap mags for any firearm. Thankfully cooler heads in the Senate prevailed and the bills were defeated. I now have a state Senator from my district that's black, a Demonrat, woman and oh so "liberal" meaning she's on board with the entire Demonrat agenda, especially gun control. I reminded her that her people were successfully persecuted in the South after the Civil War because Jim crow laws disarmed blacks.
