Virus Shutdown Threatens Constitutional Carry Bills in Tennessee

U.S.A. –-(Ammoland.com)- It seemed Tennessee would be the first state to join the Constitutional Carry club in 2020. From an earlier article on Ammoland:

Both Senate Majority Leader Jack Johnson and House Majority Leader William Lampeth endorsed the idea of Constitutional Carry. A specific statute was not in place when the announcement was made. With all three leaders endorsing the popular idea of Constitutional Carry, a bill seemed almost certain of passage.

  3. My state adopted an a new law making a carry permit optional in 2017. The past two legislative sessions, the Demonrats have tried to overturn it and in fact make it illegal to own "assault" weapons and large cap mags for any firearm. Thankfully cooler heads in the Senate prevailed and the bills were defeated. I now have a state Senator from my district that's black, a Demonrat, woman and oh so "liberal" meaning she's on board with the entire Demonrat agenda, especially gun control. I reminded her that her people were successfully persecuted in the South after the Civil War because Jim crow laws disarmed blacks.
