Beware of tyranny more than COVID-19

To fight a pandemic responsible for fewer deaths than the Asian flu of 1957–58, we've been schooled to think and behave like the abject oppressed of North Korea.

  1. Shit, the flu of 1968-69 killed 100,000 then, the equivalent (adjusted for population growth) of 160,000 today. Did we shut down the fucking economy over that? Well, no, we didn't. Were we destroyed as a nation? No, we weren't.

Regardless of the panic-mongerers among us, this is not a fucking catastrophe. The computer models were simply fucking wrong. The data they fed into these models was wrong. You might as well have labelled the models the "Chicken Little: The Sky is Falling!" worst of the very worst cases.

What pisses me off is that this level of fuck-uped-ness will make it that much less likely that people will heed warnings when something really bad comes down the tracks as it probably will, just like Gulf and Atlantic Coast hurricanes.

PS. Don't tell the easily butthurt, like some Greek-loving fable-tellers of disease we know.

  2. This contrived current pandemic was conceived and launched by the Globalist Democrat cartel for one purpose: Destroy the American economy thus defeat Trump no matter what the cost in lives. it's that simple.

  3. Just because some action can be rationally explained and considered "Good" because it saves lives, which is debatable, that doesn't make forcing people to DO what you say right. By this line of thinking some genius could decide what we need to do is put everyone in America on lockdown and have drones drop off food for them, that way nobody would die in a car crash,,
People dying left and right isn't a good thing, no,, But,, Hungry people die, too. It's a lefties wet dream to create a world where everything is safe and the realities of life, one of them being death, can be avoided.. I think that's where their obsession with socialism comes from,, they want a comfortable existence for everyone,, even the lazy, nonproductive. Gee, now Why would anyone promote the idea that the industrious and successful should be taking care of those who aren't? Could it be that THAT describes them?
