The Marines are always the last to get new equipment. Did you know the Marines were happy when the army adopted the M1 Abram's tank? Because we got their hand-me-down M60-A1's. 2nd. Tank battalion, 2nd MarDiv was comprised of 1 company of M60-A1's, and 2 of M48's when the army got the Abram's. We're not wasting money on "shiny new toys".
