Damn, this is a heartbreaker for that girl

TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. – Police say a 15-year-old girl accidentally drove over her father as he was teaching her to park a pickup truck.

The man died at the scene on Tuesday evening.

Tarpon Springs police told news outlets the 46-year-old man had gotten out of the truck to let the girl park it by herself.

    So, I guess we can consider the lesson not a success?
    The dumb bastard bought that ticket himself, by standing in front of the truck. I brought up 5 stepkids, & never even considered being in the line of travel--off to the side only!
    Tragic, but his own fault.

    I have visited Tarpon Springs several times. It is a beautiful, Greek town. I agree it it a heartbreaking thing for the girl, and will be with her forever.
