We have a community of Amish people living here in rural West Michigan. At least a couple of times that I can remember, a drunk driver has hit their horse drawn buggy and killed someone. The last time it was a 14 year old girl, if I remember right. They also had a barn burn down once. They held a barn raising, and had it replaced the same day they started working on it. One day to build a good sized barn. I was suitably impressed. pigpen51
