Briefly went out with a bodybuilder girl way back when. Looked pretty normal (5'5", 135#) until contest time when you had to be "cut" with veins showing. (And don't get me started on the fake tan stuff.) Then it was food restriction, sodium restriction days before the contest. "What'd you have for lunch?" "Four ounces of plain boiled chicken breast." "And what else?" "That was it. And that's going to be dinner too. Don't talk to me about food. Actually, just don't talk if you're going to ask stupid questions." The last day was water restriction too. If you think being hungry alone makes a woman cranky, wait until you add dehydration headache to that mess. On the other hand, a girl who squats 225 can do some interesting things. (Yeah, I know that isn't all THAT much, but recall the goal is shaping, not power.)
Hasb't been seen outside of the gym for years....
