I think it's bottomed out around here. It's been holding steady at $1.64 for a week or 10 days now. Still it was nice, filling up gas cans for less than what I paid for the cans themselves.

  3. KTLA had video of 27 tankers off the coast of L.A. waiting their turns to unload. That depended on storage tanks being freed up. A guy from the port said it was normal for 3 to 5 ships to be waiting to be unloaded.
    Here in NorCal/Jefferson the price is still at it's low of $2.06. It's pretty remarkable that our prices are only 40¢ higher than Lafayette, TN instead of the usual 85¢ to $1.10 higher.

    1. The only places I have seen $1.19 in the San Antonio area is at Habib's Stop and Save where they water the gas down. We will hunt a Murphy's (Walmart) and cheapest we've seen was $1.29.

      By all rights, the retail price on gasoline should be less than a buck when the crude is circling $20.00

  8. Hey Kenny;

    The gas here is GA where I live averages from $1.39 to 1.69 but the prices have started inching up at some of the gas stations as the Governor lifted the "shelter in place order.

  9. Three days ago, wife scored $1.16 with three cent discount at Wal-Mart. Yesterday, saw $1.59 in several convenience shops. I wondered if someone got nuked - WTF happened. Is Big Oil trying to do their part for a Trump coup come November ?
