Looks like the drive chain is still in place. Not good. If it gets bumped into gear by pothole or bystander or flying debris, kiss the engine goodbye. It will be in first or second gear at highway speeds. Can you say thrashed?
Handy: We made them to hold the front axle of our Nortons, back in the 70's. The other version was bigger, to hold the front wheel. Much more bulky, and still took two people to load/unload the bike. Having the front wheel off the bike was a good anti-theft deterrent.
