Do you remember when the politicians and leftists proclaimed that any "idiot" could poke a hole in the ground, throw in a seed and grow something?? I would enjoy nothing more than throwing some commie asshole up into that cab and saying "have at it"!! What appears very simple to the brainless commies is truly complex. May God Bless our Farmers!! Because of their knowledge they feed the world!!
To the "elites" such as Bloomberg, what this girl does is not real work. Real work is figuring out how to put yourself into the middle of each transaction, so that you skim something off each way, and profit regardless of whether anyone else is making money. THAT's how real human beings make their living. The rest of us are just farm equipment, tame animals, and sex toys.
I have a friend/former plumber who's daughter does that kind of work in NE Oregon somewhere. . . . . Chicks these days. I work with a bunch of them, well not so much now in light of things, but they all have advanced degrees, but don't seem to show it much. Hmm, could it be that my B.S. degree and 35 years of the School of Reality might trump that ejumukashun? Not a chance, I'm a white male. But they don't fail to come to me with questions I likely know the answer to.
Sarthurk, I know what you mean. While I do have around a year of college, I spent a bit over 35 years in a steel foundry. And I taught hundreds of young guys how to both work safely in a shop, and how to make steel, both in an open air furnace, and in a vacuum furnace. I actually had a head hunter contact me about a month ago, asking if I wanted to work in New York state, on a consultant/vacuum furnace operator for 3 months. They offered a lot of money, and overtime, plus expenses, and airfare and a rental car, plus motel. I am retired and have no interest, but the guy who contacted me had offered me a different position a few years back, in a similar industry. But the travel was a no go for me. I would be willing to bet that this young lady has more intelligence and integrity, as well as work ethic than many, if not most, of her peers. After seeing the equipment that farmers must use now to compete, it is no wonder that they cannot afford to stay in business, unless they are a huge outfit.
Lots of times the guys on the tractor forums will post video from the cab. Lots of wives daughters sisters like to film themselves at work. The modern stuff is amazing. I grew up with a Farmall regular, an F-20, a 9N and an 8N. Dad upgraded to an M right before he retired. Fun stuff, Mexican hydraulics.
Damn, she looks and acts a LOT like an old girlfriend of mine, RIP - kinda tugs at my heart strings. But glad to see this young lady going about her business, getting it done. Not a snowflake!
Wow. Thats beautiful gal!
ReplyDeleteShe is cute, even without make-up.
ReplyDeleteDang lazy deplorable snowflake.
ReplyDeleteShe should be in Hollywood looking for work.(SARC)

ReplyDeleteIt's not your grandfather's tractor.....
ReplyDeleteOne uncle, now long past away, planted his share of soy beans over the years and if still alive, would be knocked off his feet by this video.
ReplyDeleteThat is one seriously cute girl. (...except for the nose hardware, but nobodies perfect.)
ReplyDeleteI guess little Mike Bloomberg never saw this video.
ReplyDeleteWow. Just wow.

ReplyDeleteMaybe if American and Canadian farmers stopped feeding the world, there'd be more appreciation for them.
DeleteJust NYFC in this case.

Many young women are truly, exceptionally competent these days. It makes me wonder where are the men? Bravo! And she is beautiful as well.
ReplyDeleteShe said her father was off in another field spraying. When it is planting season, it is all hands on deck.

If my son, a farmer, weren't already with a pretty, savvy farm girl, I'd point him in her direction.

Boulders at the end of the over-run?
DeleteReally?
Can't beat blancolirio's videos. His latest of the parked aircraft are downright spooky.
DeleteYou go girl! Makes me proud of American women and their parents. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThat's what makes this country great!
ReplyDeleteYoung people like her.

ReplyDeleteYeah... just WOW!
ReplyDeleteMy wife does the same, but sadly does not look like that.
ReplyDeleteCompetence has it's own allure. And, she appears to have it in abundance.
ReplyDeleteKenny,
ReplyDeleteThank you for this gift.
