For some reason, I'm reminded of the lines in an old Mag Magazine: Some day she will grow up. Some day she will get married and have kids. Maybe the world will get lucky. Maybe the bomb will drop first.
I was reminded of the movie A Christmas Story, when Ralphie yells out Fuck! His parents ask him where he heard such a thing. Like he hadn't heard it everyday, every hour, at home. My parents died when I was 53 and 54. I can honestly say that I never said a cuss word in their presence. Not because I was afraid of them, but out of respect for them. They of course, did say some pretty colorful words. My dad worked his entire life in a foundry, and learned how to talk from them. So did I, for 35 years, and it is just ingrained within your being, as to how you communicated. But never in front of my parents.
But that's what Daddy says when he's excited?

Amen!
DeleteDouble Amen. There's nothing wrong here that couldn't be fixed with Prozac and a polo mallet.
