Personally, I would have turned it in also. I could not have slept at all and also a very valuable lesson for the children. Thou shalt not steal. Good for them.
Same here. Right thing to do. Also, it belonged to the US Govt., and for all the things they screw up, they're pretty good at tracking this stuff down. You'd be looking at Federal time.
First dunk it in tub of soapy water to deactivate any electronic tracking device. Or pour few gallons of water into it. 2nd use knife to open side of bag. Do not open top as dye can explode. 3rd. The soapy water should disperse most of the dye. Once remove cash. Hang and dry.

ReplyDeleteGood thing Pelosi wasn't around. She would have figured out a way to grab the cash before the family had a chance to say "Good morning."
ReplyDeleteNope. My altruistic days are over because I have found that they are rarely ever reciprocated.

ReplyDeleteOk.....mixed feelings here....finders keepers?...."But officer, I only found one bag".....at least that's half honest....
ReplyDeleteNo way that money is getting returned if I find it. I'm with unknown, disable any tracking devices and beat feet.
