You'd think the name would've tipped them off

The Canadian government appears to have banned a coffee company in the nation’s wide-reaching new ban on various forms of firearms deemed by its government to be “assault weapons.”

A listing for the company is found in the country’s law, which singles out thousands of firearm models by name. Somewhere along the line, Black Rifle Coffee Company was identified as a gun manufacturer, even though the company has nothing to do with actually making guns.

  1. I read a story yesterday that indicated some of the rifles on the banned list are bolt action.

  3. The company banned is "black rifle company" not "black rifle coffee company" The coffee company apparently tweeted that they had been banned as a joke.

  4. Companies are taking the trampling of the 2nd Amendment way too far. Case in point, Microsoft Ads. I had a client whose last name is "Browning" and his business had nothing to do with guns. But just because that's his name, his ad on Bing was rejected 3 or 4 times before I got them to straighten it out.
