Metro Nashville Police say they arrested a man in connection with an assault on influential real estate developer Tony Giarratana during the May 30 protests.
Nicholas Barrett, 25, on Wednesday was charged with felony aggravated assault for allegedly striking Giarratana from behind with a skateboard outside 505 Church St. during the protest.

The story has a bit of "Yassuh, Massah Tony" slant, but then you see the photo of the perp and say, "Damn, dude. You're the picture in the dictionary under 'White Privilege.'" A guess -- That 25-year-old blond boy does not have work calluses on his hands.

ReplyDeleteThis is another one of those cases where a person shows their violent streak, gets caught, released, then goes right back out and does it again. He should be held in the local jail until his trial date, no bail!

The people are gonna rise up and settle it themselves. Because if it is lawless, what is to stop someone from giving a whole lot of whoop ass on those punks?
