When officers arrived they found one man with a gunshot wound and another man trapped under a car. Emergency crews took both to a Kansas City hospital with serious injuries.

Back in the mid 1990s there was a sudden rash of carjackings in west Modesto where these thugs would step out in front of a moving vehicle with a gun, then yanking the drivers out and stealing their wallets and vehicles - and people were actually stopping for them!
I thought it was funnier than hell. I always said if people thought a 45 ACP had some stopping power, wait until they ran up against my 87 ACP - 1987 Automatic Chevy Pickup.
Cleveland, Ohio had the carjacking thing for a short while until a rash of acute lead poisonings occurred in the same general area as the carjackings.
ReplyDeleteI mean, it could have been coincidence, but I don't know...
East side ?
Deletehmmm. A 7000 pound truck at 25 miles per hour has about 128,000 foot pounds of energy. 230 gr hardball doesn't look nearly as impressive. Of course the .45 has easier follow-up if you miss.
ReplyDeleteNot a 'hero'.

We pay him to do this job.
Anything less is treason.
