A Cookeville man who has been booked into the Putnam County jail more than 30 times was arrested again Tuesday for trafficking methamphetamine, said Putnam County Sheriff Eddie Farris.
Gregory Howard, 39, allegedly had 1.1 pounds of methamphetamine that was discovered during an undercover drug investigation by the PCSO Drug Investigation, K-9 and Aviation divisions, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and the Middle Tennessee High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force.
