In late May 2020...a petition drive asked the owner to change the name of Sambo's. Shortly after, Stevens declared his intention to change the name of the establishment.
All they really needed to do was update the logos, making Uncle Ben into a rapper named Lil' Ben and Aunt Jemima could be Big Mamma (or Baby Mamma). If they just have all of the Black logos removed then all that would be left are White logos like Betty Crocker and the Quaker oats guy.
All part of erasing the history of the USA. A play right out of the communist playbook with the end goal of subverting and eliminating the current power structure while installing a different "more people centered" centrally planed .gov and economy. Welcome to the USSA comrade where we pretend to work and the government pretends to pay us.
Usually, the conquering army destroys a country's cultural monuments and customs after they've conquered a country in order to subjugate the conquered population. They're doing it out of order now because they've been allowed to by the existing power structure which should tell you something about what really going on here.
