My grandma used to make me get the switch she was gonna beat me with me. That makes the punishment that much worse.
And yes, the first time I cut her some little switch that might sting a little but wouldn't hurt, wondering how she could be so stupid. She cut a thick branch and beat me with that. I figured out who was stupid that day.
