Chicago has been under Democrat political control for two generations. The murder rate amid black communities is horrific. No-one has done anything to stop the crime and violence and it continues to escalate.
Yesterday President Trump wrote a letter to Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot offering assistance from his administration:

ReplyDeleteAs I've said before here and other places, when the black on black and brown on brown killings stop, maybe I'll give some consideration to black lives matter. Until then, and since blacks and browns don't seem to value the lives of people of their own color, why should the rest of us care?

I worked near Chicago for three years, fly in on Mondays, the local news gave out shootings and murders like sports scores. No one cared, I mean no one. there are two kinds of people in Chicago, those that will never leave, and those preparing to leave the city and state. For the record, I occasionally met a white person who loved Chicago, of course they were pure liberals who admitted the politicians were crooked.

ReplyDeleteThe last Republican Mayor of Chicago was Big Bill Thompson, put into office with the support of Al Capone in 1924. He left office in 1931 and it's been Democrats ever since.
Earth to Pres Trump....why bother? These stooges aren't interested in making things "better", they want it to be worse so they can grab more power from desperate citizens.
