We don't go for that shit in Tennessee

Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee issued a warning to demonstrators looking to set up an autonomous zone in front of the state Capitol Friday, saying that “lawlessness, autonomous zones, and violence will not be tolerated.”

According to a local news outlet, a large group of demonstrators protesting the death of George Floyd in police custody and racial injustice in the U.S., reportedly intended to set up an autonomous zone in front of the Capitol in solidarity with the demonstrations in Seattle.

  1. As a Tennessean and a veteran, I approve of our governor's statement.

  2. And they continue to turn even more potentially sympathetic people against their cause by being assholes and screwing up the lives of normal folks. The media and Dem politicians might be loving the protesters now but they're public PR game keeps sucking. Winning territory won't mean squat if the armed public kicks you back out.

  4. What he should have said was come on in. Then when all these idiots start to set up their little Autonomous Zone Yell Psyche and turn the public loose on them with the police conveniently ABSENT. After about 3-4 hours, have to give the people time to do a thorough job of it, send for the Fire department to hose the leavings off the street. Post the videos on Social media with a warning and a challenge. These idiots aren't bright enough to ignore a challenge like that. So there will be a repeat performance.
