The dogs of racial war were released this May in Minneapolis by the senseless death of George Floyd, a black man, under the knee of Derek Chauvin, a white police officer. Even though Chauvin had a long record of misconduct, the charges against him had been mainly disregarded by the local authorities, including former prosecutor, now Senator and failed Democratic presidential candidate, Amy Klobuchar. While the initial protests against this outrage and the rising cries of black lives matter was certainly justified, the ensuing mob violence under the politicized banner of “Black Lives Matter” (“BLM”) has become quite another matter entirely . . . one that threatens the very foundation of the country. What began as a cry for simple justice in Minnesota has now turned into a nationwide movement of mass mayhem and destruction in which the ghosts of such long dead issues as Southern secession and slavery have been called forth to justify the Orwellian erasure and rewriting of America’s history and heritage. Now, a third ghost has been resurrected from its quiet grave . . . the issue of white slaves in colonial America.

This should be distributed far and wide. Negros were NOT the only ethnic group cast into slavery...many of us with Irish ancestry deserve "reparations" just as much as blacks do!
ReplyDeleteTwo ancestors, father and son, arrived in Virginia in 1750, passage paid by His Majesty's Government, following conviction in Old Bailey of some crime. The pair were sold into seven years' bondage. I had always figured they did their seven years and then went about becoming colonial farmers, or at some point said, "The hell with this" and escaped into western Virginia or North Carolina hills, with offspring in Tennessee by the late 1700s. Now I see that it is possible Thomas Sr. and Thomas Jr. could have been enslaved for a period longer than seven years, perhaps even for life.
ReplyDeleteDon't believe the media lie that officer Chauvin killed Floyd. Floyd died of an overdose. He had three times the lethal dose of Fentanyl in his system. In addition to methamphetamines. You probably heard in the media that he was complaining that he couldn't breath. But, they failed to mention that minutes before he was restrained by the officers he was already complaining about breathing. The Fentanyl was affecting the breathing receptors in his brain.
ReplyDeleteThe officers recognized that he was overdosing. They called an ambulance and restrained him since he was resisting. They did everything properly and by the book. They were the only ones who even tried to help Floyd, and for their trouble they have now been framed for his murder.

Hawk_TX, good comment. Also the autopsy showed NO, zero, nada, zilch, zip signs of asphyxia. There was no trauma to his esophagus. In other words, like so many incidents when the cops are accused of misconduct, the accusation is from low-life scum bag parasites, who are just looking for an excuse to tear shit up.
ReplyDeleteGeorge Floyd was a suicide.
ReplyDeleteHe accomplished his suicide during his crimes against his neighbors and his community.
