Bubba Wallace took some heat before he competed in the NASCAR All-Star Open, which was the race to qualify for the main event at Bristol Motor Speedway on Wednesday. AP Sports reporter Jenna Fryer covered the event and wrote on Twitter that fans booed Wallace when he was introduced. And when he crashed 17 laps into the race, the crowd began cheering.

What? he expects fans to just look the other way when he and NASCAR perpetrated a race hoax on ENTIRE COUNTRY? Fuck him. I hope he crashes out of EVERY RACE for the rest of his career. I'm pretty sure he's going to be encountering a lot of innocent, perfectly legal "bumps" from behind for the rest of this season that are going to send him spinning into the wall or the infield. You guys are missing something.....when Jeff Gorden asked Dale Earnhardt why people booed him, Dale said as long as their making noise, you're ok.....it's when they're silent that you have to worry....Bubba is in that sweet spot of black privilege anyway....
ReplyDeleteSaw the video. Bubba passed and was low on the track entering the corner and could not hold his line. He Slid up into the other car and was not spun because the other car came down on him.
ReplyDeleteBubba is the typical participation trophy type of driver who gets mad because they did not win. There is usually one driver every season that has that chip on their shoulder and whines every time they get into the wall due to their own incompetence.
I agree, Petty motorsports will regret their hiring him. I also tend to think that Bubba will keep eating wall all season long as the rest of the drivers in Nascar resent the attention he gets only because he is black and has not earned any cred for being a 'Good Driver' and on top of that he is a WHINER. Oh well........
