The federal government has denied Gov. Tim Walz’s request for aid to help rebuild and repair Twin Cities structures that were damaged in the unrest following George Floyd’s death.
Walz asked President Donald Trump to declare a “major disaster” for the state of Minnesota in his request to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on July 2. More than 1,500 buildings were damaged by fires, looting and vandalism in the days of unrest that followed Floyd’s May 25 death in Minneapolis police custody, racking up more than $500 million in damages, according to Walz.

Delighted that Gov. Walz's request was denied. It is about time that the residents of the Peoples Socialist Democratic State of Minnesota live with the consequences of their collective stupidity. I am looking forward to the day when I move out of this socialist state; AMF. As long as Minnesotans continue to elect Lefties to political office they deserve in full measure every thing they get. Even though I do live here, I do NOT and never will consider myself to be a "Minnesotan". I do NOT consider Liberals/ Lefties to be my fellow countrymen.
ReplyDeleteMaybe, if this happens, again the Mayor will tell the police to break some heads instead of give up police stations.
ReplyDeletePretty amusing; the audacity of Walz to condone Minn' self destruction via a marxist tantrum and ask for the people they rally against to pay for it! I wouldn't be surprised if it's never rebuilt, testament to the marxists that hate us.

The governor should have given about 15 minutes fair warning that the police are charged with restoring law and order using whatever means it takes, and conferring immunity to the police against those that violate their directives during the period needed to restore order.
ReplyDeleteIf that failed, the governor should have called out the National Guard with a general directive to restore order, and leave it to the Guard to employ the means necessary.
Sorry to say, that the looters’ and vandals’ lives don’t matter when a billion dollars of infrastructure and other property is at stake.
We know Washington,Oregon, and Cali are watching and planning their move

Well, that fucks Trump's re-election bid...wait a minute. Minnysoty was't gonna vote for him anyway.
ReplyDeleteThere’s no use in rebuilding it yet anyways. Anything rebuilt now will just get destroyed again when the cop involved gets off because they were following dept policy and he died of a drug overdose.
ReplyDeleteThe major disaster occurred back when Walz was elected.
ReplyDeleteI think Trump did the right thing by telling them to fuck off.
ReplyDeleteHMMMM i read somewhere that the Damage to Minneapolis was 16 Million (Sounded Low to me). yet he requested 500 Million Padding the request so he could fund more marxist BS. I hear BLM has hundreds of Millions of "DONATION" (SHAKEDOWN MONEY FROM GUILT RIDDEN CORPORATE CEO'S). They should bail you out they caused it. I want to see the body cam footage from what i heard he was saying he could not breathe either with nobody touching him or whlie he was standing up being restrained. Which would seem to me screaming he could not breathe was a ploy to get away.
ReplyDeletel read that any money sent to BLM gets diverted straight to a democrat superpac fund, may as well just be handing the money straight TO the dems.
