If its got shrapnel, it's a bomb, plain and simple

A federal law enforcement document reviewed by Breitbart Texas reports that “protesters” who attacked the Atlanta Field Office of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) embedded nails into commercial-grade fireworks. The devices were reportedly discovered after the protest ended Sunday morning.

  1. Hmmm... not only did they combine items (aka manufacture) but embedding sharp metap objects could only be done to inflict damage (aka intent). Yup, seems like a pretty easy case to prosecute to me. Too bad nobody will be brought up on charges!

  2. This is no different than bombs in pressure cookers, and should be investigated and prosecuted as such.

  3. One of these days someone is going drop a backpack IED in the middle of one of these riots when they've had enough.

  4. Not too much of a leap to get from this to truly effective IED's. That actually go off. "Stay away from crowds." It's not like we were not warned enough.
