KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A woman in Tennessee who gave conflicting stories about the death of her 5-year-old daughter has been accused of killing the child.
Robin Howington, 37, was indicted on a first-degree murder charge in the shooting death of her daughter by a Knox County grand jury Wednesday, news outlets reported.

I seriously doubt that Ms. Howington was indicted because the Knox County grand jury shot her child. Yet that is exactly how that stupid sentence reads.
How about instead: "Robin Howington, 37, was indicted by a Knox County grand jury Wednesday on a first-degree murder charge in the shooting death of her daughter, news outlets reported."
