See, I'm all considerate and shit

All right, I just upped my font from 13 to 15 points. I realized how hard it was for me to read the smaller font, so I can imagine how hard it must be for all you old folks.

  3. Good on you. I've biggified the type on every site, at 125, like Daryl said.

    1. I too bigified. Wish I thought of that before the squint wrinkles and forehead 11s happened.

  4. I just use a 43" monitor along with the judicious use of CTRL+

  5. I could manage to read most pages by wearing my reading glasses and leaning forward till my nose was about a foot from my monitor. Seems better now. DocFont

  6. As a side-note, if one holds down the ALT key and scrolls the mouse wheel forward or back, one can increase or decrease the font size of any webpage.

  12. Thanks. That's one of the reasons I like a Kindle more than an actual book.

  16. Re Font size: Try this for a moment: https://underthesunonline.com/wordpress/2020/
    Font family: Georgia; 18pt (h5)
As I told the blog owners when I built it, People are getting older every day, and eyes are overworked in this modern world, so make it easy on your readers and they won't go away. Lucky for me they agreed.

  17. Thanks for thinking us older folks. I wear 1.50 cheaters to read the screen, been doing that for about ten years now and I have my browser set to over ride the page's native font size to 18 pt and I still need the cheaters.

  18. Never really bothered me, but slightly larger is slightly better.
What I hate though is this idiotic switch by too many sites away from black text to light hard to read grey.
You have select all the text to read it! Stupid new web standards...

  19. Will that change the T&A bigger too?
