In a potential sign that California Sen. Kamala Harris may be inching closer to being named former Vice President Joe Biden's running mate, her Wikipedia page has seen a flurry of activity in recent days.
Left-wing website The Intercept notes that Harris’ page has been edited 408 times in the last three weeks, with most edits coming from one person. The article cited two similar incidents, including one story from The Atlantic in 2016 noting that Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine's Wikipedia page was heavily edited in the weeks leading up to his selection as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's running mate, and another from The Washington Post in 2008 about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's Wikipedia page in the hours before being named Arizona Sen. John McCain's number two.

No doubt they're editing it for a comic book to appeal to Biden's level of intellect.
ReplyDeleteIt is rare to see any Wikipedia page that hasn't been edited within the last two months. This is true even for obscure historical events that few people care about.
ReplyDeleteThere are people who make a business out of editing Wikipedia pages. Some of the more egregious editors have been editing 12 hours a day, every day, for years with no days off, ever. This is done to raise the "score" of the editor in experience points. Clearly it is a team of people all using the same account.
Others editors are bots that make insignificant changes to add a space or a comma, then another bot comes along to remove extra spaces or commas. This is a way to hide edits within dozens or hundreds of irrelevant entries that nobody has time to sift through.
Wikipedia is no longer the "compendium of human knowledge" originally envisioned. It has devolved into just another medium to push an agenda by those who know the rules.

O yes, wikipedia, that bastion of truthful deep journalism. That site is only good for the dummies who try to seem knowledgeable.
ReplyDeleteWikipedia Motto:
ReplyDelete"The best collection of gossip and rumors on TheWorldWideWeb!"
Kamala Harris was a stooge as AG and politicized the office to the max, and she's an even worse Senator because when was she not focused on winning higher office? These politicians should be forced to resign their current office before filing for a higher one. Otherwise we taxpayers aren't getting anywhere close to our "money's worth"!
ReplyDeletePeople better pay attention to things like this. Because if Joe Biden defeats Trump in November, his VP will be the President within 6 months, due to Joe's inability to perform the duties of his office. Hell, he can hardly perform the duties of not pissing on himself in the bathroom now. Another 6 months,he will look like Hillary Clinton on her last days on the campaign trail, tripping all over himself, and having a face that looks painted on. Never ignore what can happen, given the right circumstances. Because the Democrats are experts at bringing together those circumstances.

If Biden wins, there are people set up right now to run this country into commie-land. Biden will never have any "say", he will only be a figure head.
DeleteLimbaugh was talking about this today, he would call any names, but I bet this crowd knows almost all of the people who will become the ruling coalition.
