NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A Nashville Fire Department Captain has been put on paid administrative leave after FOX 17 discovered several social media posts community members said were troubling.
Tracy Turner is a Captain with Fire Station 18 in East Nashville. On Facebook, he has posted statuses like “These protesters are the stupidest people on the planet, other than the arsonist and looters that hang out with them.”

DeleteAs a Fire Chief, my advice to our crew is, "Just like we say that nothing good ever happens after 2:00am, NOTHING good happens on social media." Just say no to social media.

DeleteWhat a bunch of maroons. The engagement specialist and the used-to-be metro officer believe a firefighter will/will not take care of a fire based on signs in the yard? The wrong man has been placed on administrative leave.
