The left party never understood this. They thought that dramatizing violence would make rational people want to give up their guns. But rational people instead realized the real message of dramatic crime was. "The police can't or won't protect you", so they bought guns to protect themselves. --generic
Lesson two: if you really are serious about never having another school mass shooting... close mass schools. The source of this problem was always having so many targets in one place, along with someone else's little sociopath.
I'm just amazed everyone didn't gun up after the Sandy Hook debacle.
