Things to Buy Before November #1 and #2

Actually, it's almost a little too late to buy an upper. If (key word there) you can find a quality upper, it's going to cost you and there's likely to be a delay in shipping. Trust me on this, I hit gun parts sites on a daily basis.
You can still find AR pistol uppers, but a finding a quality rifle upper is going to be a job and you're going to pay some bucks for it.

Magazines can still be had at about the same prices they were this time last year. Stock up.

  1. Yup. Just bought a bunch of MagPul magazines for mine, and I bought a whole box of clips for my Garand. Now I can put all that surplus ammo I bought and cleaned in the clips, and then stuff the loaded clips in to those bandoleers I have, like the ones I sent you.

Still need to get some mag carrying pouches or a vest for the AR.....

  2. I own a precision machine shop and we also are an 07 FFL with out own line of AR 15's and AR 10's. Our main biz is military machine/aerospace parts. For the last two weeks we've been swamped with people wanting complete guns before November. I'm not even sure you can get LPK's by then. a lot of distributors are out of everything.

  6. I'm investing in canned chili, ranch style beans with jalapeƱo, onions and cheese.
If it works to repel an in-law assault, it will work for anything.

  7. feel bad for anyone just getting into it, but then again the warning signs have been there for long enough.

    1. if the crap really does hit the fan, these new people will be just fine. between us having extra, battlefield pickups, and home-workshop manufacture..we'll have enough to go around.

go down to the pawn shop or the gun store and look at the used hunting rifles. you can get those "lightly used" for a song. I get the feeling we'll get a lot more use out of those than the AR's. even if it doesn't turn out that way, it's a good thing to have on a team.

  8. Make you own guns...
Buy a 3D printer that can do graphene...even barrels can be done, but won't last forever.
At worst you'll have to buy some springs.
3D printing has come a long way but has a long way to go too.
Chinese have 3D printed gunpowder now!

Or go post-gunpowder and go high tech weaponry. Reluctant to post link or data but whoooaaaa!

Best of luck post election ☺

    1. or go low-tech until you can get something better.

  11. I knew that, sooner or later, my efforts of policing brass at the gun range would ultimately pay off. In Texas, a lot of people can't find smmo for their newly acquired pandemic weapons.

  14. Phhht! There's oodles of good guns sitting in guns cabinets all over Canada. Someone just has to figure out how to export them. Export was one of the permitted dispositions after the May 1 ban.
