To Protect and Serve

BALTIMORE — The rise and fall of the Baltimore City Police Department's "Gun Trace Task Force" is almost too unbelievable to be true.

The now-former police officers are all in federal prison, when just a few years ago they were winning commendations from the police department's leaders.

  1. Somebody knew. Somebody always knows. Maybe those cops hid behind the Thin Blue Line, maybe other cops or politicians got a piece of the action, as movies and TV say, but somebody knew.

  2. No corruption in ANY police force ANYWHERE in the country. Just ask them. As I've said before, police officers need to be held to a higher standard. Oh, those body cams that everyone is touting as the "cure" for police malfeasance? What good are they if they can be turned on and off at the officers whim? They're either ALWAYS ON or they're not worth spit. 99.9% of police officers give the rest a bad name.

    1. No problemo bro. The cops are going to "self-regulate" and only show up to write after action reports. So when the mob shows up at YOUR DOOR, YOU take care of it.

    2. In Baltimore, I'd be happy to deal with the mob if the cops would promise not to arrest me for defending myself and my home.

  4. I have a friend, that was a year older, that I played high school sports with, football, baseball, and after high school, I played fast pitch softball with him. He became a cop, and eventually was elected sheriff in one of the counties of our area. He resigned when he was around 58 or so. I eventually heard the reason was that he was coaching the local high school girls softball team, and got excessively close with one of the girls on the team. It was resign or face more serious action.
I don't know if any of that is true, but from who I heard it from, it is all true, and probably more. I give him the benefit of the doubt, since I have not spoken with him, but I have a sick feeling about him, in the pit of my stomach. Apparently the girl was 18, so he would have been guilty of abusing his position of authority over a person, etc.
It goes to show you, no one is immune from messing up. I like to think that I would never do something like that, but I am human, also. Although, when I was between marriages, and playing music for money,in a band, for several years, I had more than a couple of young ladies who liked to chase people in bands. And I never let them get close to me. That doesn't make me a hero, it just makes me loyal, and I never slept with a woman that I wasn't married to.
There are a few things that can get a man into real trouble, and having sex with the wrong woman is pretty high up there on the list, right below being a dirty cop.

    1. Oh wow! That's what I am looking for, those 18 to 25 year olds who like older guys and want to fuck. I'm 70 and have three who want to be my side chick and I don't have the time to get away with my wife working from home now. I need to find a good excuse to be gone for several hours twice a week
